Cherry De Pon

This place is pure and simple AWESOME!

Located in Renton, WA in the same plaza as Uwjimaya's Grocers.

The frozen yogurt (froyo) served there is very flavorful. They have many different flavors that they change out every two weeks. Whats good is 1: they have a variety of toppings and 2: your able to sample and mix flavors at your leisure.

Clean, bright, happy atmosphere.

Teriyaki today.

Went and got teriyaki today. This place is close to work just off of S 68th and 212th in Kent.

Well called in to pre-order so not to wait when I get there. They have very good teriyaki sauce but a little on the thick and sweeter side. The side salad is not that great but edible, not the normal sweet honey sauce, but like I said its ok.

As for the eatery for dining in its your typical teriyaki spot. You know a lot of little tables stuffed to the gills. A lot of people from other work places that is on a luncheon meeting and of course the drink fountain and bottled drinks right up front. Today I tipped because the staff is very nice and always smiling. Don't know if it's an Asian thing but it's good to see a nice smile now and then. The place is very clean no weird smells or anything just a nice clean place.

So I ordered Prawn yakisoba with tofu. It was very good and a good size. They did charge for the tofu combo and added a scoop of rice. The veggies and cabbage was good and the shrimp was cooked well soft and not rubbery. Good flavor and not too much salt. Would recommend.

I'll end this post with this. Make your own combo's and you might surprise yourself.
